Mother's on Poydras is Another Local Spot

New Orleanians don't mind standing in line for food if it is good or free. While the food at Mother's is surely not free, it is good. The lines can be long around lunch. I suggest a 2:30 Lunch for fastest service.

They offer a wide selection of top notch food. I think they offer Ham as a speciality although I have never ordered it. While dining in Mothers note the pictures of people who have frequented the establishment. While it does cost a hefty price to try a couple dishes. I highly recommend the Jambalaya and the Red Beans and Rice.
