The New Orleans area is known for many great RV parks provided by the State of Louisiana. Their are many parks in the city and surrounding areas. New Orleans has many RV dealers and RV part suppliers. We have found much of the downtown area to not be RV friendly. The streets are narrow and tough to drive with larger coaches. The surrounding areas of New Orleans are easily accessible and only a short cab ride to downtown and the French Quarter.
