Beignets Being Served in The French Quarter

They are currently serving Beignets in the French Quarter. There are many places that serve beignets on a regular basis, some more popular and some better than others. A beignet is like a donut that is covered in powered sugar. They do have a different consistency than a donut, but the flavor is similar. They are usually served with cafe au lait or just coffee and chicory.
Beignets in the French Quarter is definitely a good sign.
