Saint Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter

The Saint Louis Cathedral, as seen here, is the focal point of Jackson Square and considered to be the entrance to the French Quarter by many. The cathedral is an active Roman Catholic church with regular Sunday mass.
Since the St. Louis Cathedral is so beautiful, it is often very popular for New Orleans weddings. It is also used for many prominent funerals in the New Orleans area. There is much history in the St. Louis Cathedral and its surrounding alleys. I highly suggest a visit while visiting New Orleans and the Historic French Quarter.
