Bay St. Louis, MS residents put up an decorated a tree in their destroyed downtown area. The entire downtown area was either washed away or heavily damaged. There seems to be little to celebrate, yet the residents are upbeat and positive towards the future.

This was a bustling shopping area filled with restaurants, homes and stores.

I think this was Avra O'Dywer's Real Estate office in downtown Bay St. Louis. I think Trapani's Eatery would have been next door.

It is really a shame how devastated these areas are.
