While I am unsure of whether people are shopping or buying, traffic was up on Magazine Street in New Orleans. Magazine Street seems to be alive and bustling. A conversation with a few local shop owners advised of rising rents after Katrina. This could show an upward trend in business for Magazine Street merchants.
