Clearview Parkway In Jefferson Empty after Hurricane Katrina

Clearview Parkway in Jefferson appears to be deserted as Helicopters come roaring in over New Orleans.

This is a picture taken of Clearview Parkway in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The roadway is completely empty. There are no working street signals. In the distance two Chinook helicopters are roaring into New Orleans to help rescue any survivors.
