Harahan seems to be getting back to normal after Hurricane Katrina. Many of its residents and businesses are back. Harahan seems to be quick on its feet and in a hurry to return to normal.
Harahan is small incorporated area of Jefferson Parish located between River Ridge and Old Jefferson.
It's two main business roads are Hickory and Jefferson Highway.
Harahan is home to Colonial Lanes and many local restaurants.
