New Orleans, LA—January 18, 2006 — Attention all chocoholics! WYES presents the deliciously decadent 4th Annual CHOCOLATE SUNDAY, Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, 621 St. Louis Street, where attendees will be treated to scrumptious samplings of chocolate.

Providing chocolate delectables are: Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bayona, Blue Frog Chocolates, Chocolate by Design, Community Coffee, The Creole Creamery, Country Cookies, Delgado Culinary Arts Department, Emeril’s, Glazer’s Companies of Louisiana, Hilton New Orleans Riverside, Hotel Monteleone, Hubig’s Pies, Inter-Continental New Orleans, JW Marriott New Orleans, La Côte Brasserie, Latil’s Landing at Houmas House, Louisiana Chocolate Fountains, Mam Papaul’s, Marriott New Orleans, New Orleans Catering, Old Town Praline & Gift Shop, Patisserie JoAnn, Patton’s Catering, Ralph’s on the Park, Republic Beverage Company, The Rib Room Rotisserie Extraordinaire at the Omni Royal Orleans, Sortez Café, Southern Candymakers, Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Whole Foods Market and Wolfe’s in the Warehouse.

Chocolate fanatics won’t want to miss dipping into decadent chocolate fountains, sampling sumptuous chocolate creations and sipping on tasty chocolate-inspired libations.

Guests will also enjoy a cooking demonstration by Chef Jon Petrie with the Delgado Culinary Arts Department.

For advance tickets at $25 per person, call WYES at 504-486-5511. Senior tickets are $20 in advance. Also, $20 tickets are available in advance for groups of 6 or more. Advance tickets may also be purchased at Blue Frog Chocolates, 5707 Magazine Street in New Orleans. On the day of the event tickets will be available at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel for $30 per person. Attendees must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID to participate. All proceeds from CHOCOLATE SUNDAY benefit the rebuilding efforts of WYES, New Orleans’ premier public television station. We hope to see you there!
