An Evening With Chris Rose and his readings from his book 1 Dead in Attic at Skyfire Theatre
An Evening With Chris Rose a staged reading of stories from his new book 1 Dead in Attic
Northshore premiere at Skyfire Theatre
Three Performances Only - April 21, 22 & 23
In the days after Katrina, Times-Picayune columnist Chris Rose emerged as an Everyman, the "voice of the people," telling the stories of a people and a culture that were reeling from the devastation of the storm and its aftermath. The columns he wrote addressed issues that thousands of people were facing - everything from separation from family, friends and New Orleans itself to refrigerators abandoned on the curb. Those columns, which offered sanity in an insane world and humor in a horrific time, have been compiled first into a book, 1 Dead in Attic and, now, into a one-man staged reading entitled An Evening with Chris Rose.
Skyfire Theatre, in association with x2 Entertainment, is proud to present An Evening with Chris Rose for three performances only, April 21 & 22, 2006 at 8:30 PM and April 23, 2006 at 3:30 PM. Tickets are $25.00. Reservations can be made by contacting the theatre at 985-875-7577 or www.skyfire.tv.
