After almost a year of backbreaking work, New Orleanians took the day off. They celebrated the best way they know how. They had a Parade. From the quarter to St Claude people were dressed up and festive. The city is on its way back and the people's spirits are high.

Enjoy this day of rest New Orleans, because tomorrow is another day of picking up the pieces that the unwanted visitor Katrina left behind.
