New Orleans workshop: How to Act like a Movie Star

SEASONED TALENT, from 2:30 to 6:30: Your afternoon workshop covers
more specialized training for actors who hope for a career in film or
television. After practicing with scene partners using scripts from
movies that we supply, you’ll watch yourself enacting your roles on
TV.
Encouragement and support from the most qualified teachers in New
Orleans help you become more competent and marketable with every
exercise. Learn advanced auditioning skills, too.

YOUR INSTRUCTORS: Internationally known actress Veleka Gray and
prominent theatrical agent Rebecca Hale guide you every step of the
way. Miss Gray is a star of stage, screen, and television and leading lady
on six daytime dramas, including As The World Turns and The Young & The
Restless. She has taught acting in New Orleans, New York, Los
Angeles, San Francisco, and at the College of DuPage in Chicago. Dr. Hale, a
drama teacher in the Talent Education Program in Jefferson Parish,
has taught acting to middle-school, high-school, and college students for
thirty-three years. In 2002 she received her Ph.D. in Theatre from
New York University.
