- Free Tickets for Louisiana Public Schools
Due to generous funding from corporate sponsors Entergy Corporation and Hibernia Bank, I am delighted to announce that we are now able to offer FREE tickets to the school performances (April 18 - 21, 24) of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for ALL public schools in Louisiana! This offer is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and tickets must be reserved in advance. - Midsummer Student Tickets Still Available
Tickets for the school performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Tuesday, April 18, Wednesday, April 19, Thursday, April 20, Friday, April 21, and Monday, April 24, are still available for purchase. All shows are at 10:00 a.m. in Dixon Hall.
These tickets are currently available for $8.00 per student, with one free chaperone for every 15 students. Several performances are getting full, so please contact our education office (504.865.5105 ext 4) with your preferred date prior to sending in a reservation form (downloadable from our website at www.NewOrleansShakespeare.com – scroll to the bottom of the home page).

- Midsummer for the People
Just a reminder that there will be one public performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Saturday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m., also in Dixon Hall. Tickets for this performance are $25 for adults; $15 for teachers, seniors, adults under 25, and Tulane faculty and staff; and $8 for students and children. For lagniappe, all $25 and $15 tickets are Buy 3 Get 1 Free! Tickets are available for purchase at the door the night of the show: the box office will open in the lobby of Dixon Hall at 6:00 p.m. and general admission seating will begin at 7:00 p.m. For more information contact the box office at 504.865.5105 ext 2.
Director Aimée K. Michel leads a stellar cast including Gavin Mahlie as Puck/Egeus, Tony Molina as Oberon/Theseus, Lara Grice as Titania/Hippolyta, Gary Rucker as Demtrius, Michael Salinas as Lysander, Morla Gorrondona as Helena, Jessica Podewell as Hermia, Sean Patterson as Bottom, Randy Maggiore as Quince, Rebecca Frank as Snout, and Donald Lewis as Snug. Also in the cast are Ryan Bruce, Christine McCrory, Michael Santos, and Joe Seibert. Costumes are designed by Joan Long, Properties by Nicole Chauvin, and Sets and Lights by Hugh Lester, adapted by Michael Batt. Original music is composed by Eric Klerks.
